In order to ensure that Employers, Appointing and Disciplinary Authorities in the Public Service comply with Rules, Regulations and Procedures, the Commission is vested with the following powers:-

• To call upon all Excutives in the  service to account for their perfomance should the Commission be seized with evidence or compliants indicating mismanagement or non - performance of mission
• To take measure in relation to any Excutive who fails to take action concerning Public Servants under him in accordance with the requirements of the Law for the service; and
• To require any Employing Authority to provide information which the Commission may need for carrying out its functions.
